Great news from Andrew Handrick the Italy based singer-songwriter who just yesterday signed a worldwide music licensing deal! I was asked recently for the name of an artist or band who really impressed me this year and I said Andrew Handrick. Here is a new song recorded at the Live Mic Weekend in Conary, Co. Wicklow.

Nick Kelly plays Whelans upstairs on September 30th. Here's some copy'n'paste news from his website http://www.nickkelly.ie/

"EARLY WARNING: THE GESTATION PROJECT
I’m currently putting the final touches to a very unusual new musical project – one in which my fans will be invited not only to witness but also to actively participate in the making of the next Nick Kelly solo album.

I don’t think quite what I’m planning has ever been done before. I’m also hoping it’s going to be pretty good fun for you and me both.
The Gestation Project kicks off in September 2009 and, as its name suggests, will run for 9 months."

Go to the site and join Nick's mailing list to be the first to know what's up with the Gestation period!
